The Danish Diabetes Academy is a research institution established through a grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation and co-financed by the Danish universities, the Danish university hospitals and the JDRF. The main objective of the Academy is to build up a networking platform within diabetes research that will help enhance the quality of diabetes research in Denmark and abroad.
2in1 PhD course on Clinical and Molecular Endocrinology, 10-13 June 2014
The Danish PhD School of Endocrinology, a joint venture between University of Southern Denmark and Nordic Bioscience, is hosting 2 residential PhD courses in continuation of each other at Hotel Storebælt in Nyborg. Registration includes meals and accommodation and is free of charge for members of the Danish PhD School of Endocrinology and the PhD Programme of Diabetes and Metabolism.
Kick off mini symposium to celebrate a new metabolomics lab at University of Southern Denmark
The new metabolomics lab is an interdisciplinary lab focusing on integrated systems biology and ecological metabolomics. The opening of the lab will take place on May 1, 2014 at University of Southern Denmark and is supported by the Danish Diabetes Academy, Agilent Technologies and University of Southern Denmark.
