Can Milk Protein Prevent Cardiovascular Disease?
Whey protein eaten just before a meal with carbohydrates affects blood glucose levels. But what of the fat content of the blood – can that be affected as well? This is the question that PhD student Ann Bjørnshave and Professor Kjeld Hermansen, Dept. of Medical Endocrinology are attempting to answer.
2.5 Million Danish Kroner for Cutting in Stem Cell DNA
Will it be a fat cell or a bone cell? A new research project is trying to locate the recipe and has now received a grant of 2.5 million Danish kroner from DanStem. The grant goes to Professor Susanne Mandrup from the University of Southern Denmark and Professor Bo Porse from Copenhagen University.
