The Danish Diabetes Academy is a research institution established through a grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation and co-financed by the Danish universities, the Danish university hospitals and the JDRF. The main objective of the Academy is to build up a networking platform within diabetes research that will help enhance the quality of diabetes research in Denmark and abroad.
Travel grants to young scholars going abroad offered by the Danish Doctors' Insurance Association
Excellent research is the backbone of medical science, and for over a hundred years, the Danish Doctors' Insurance Association sponsored by Codan and SEB Pension has offered financial aid to Denmark’s eminent medical researchers of today and tomorrow. Among other things the Association each year alloactes a number of travel grants to support health and medical research.
Available Professorship in Diabetes Epidemiology and Demography at Aarhus University
Faculty of Health, Aarhus University is recruiting a professor of Diabetes Epidemiology and Demography for a 5-year period. The professorship has been established by a grant from the Danish Diabetes Academy and will be affiliated to Department of Public Health, Department of Clinical Medicine and Department of Clinical Epidemiology.
